DeKalb Cooperative Extension Announces Upcoming 4-H Events

DeKalb County Cooperative Extension 4-H is excited to announce upcoming summer events.

• Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament June 1,2024. This event will feature a 90-min show experience, along with a four-course meal. The tournament will be live with competing knights, jousting, sword fighting, and beautiful horses. The cost is $42.95 per adult and 4-H’ers & children (ages 3-12) $30.95 each (does not include tax and gratuity).  4-H’ers of all ages can purchase a ticket at $30.95

• 4-H Day at the Atlanta History Center on July 18, 2024. Consider adding it to your summer activities because there is no other time you can get a $7 ticket into the AHC for youth and adults.

• One week of Community Camp is held each summer at Fortson 4-H Center; this year the dates are July 14-18, 2024.  The attached flyer has a QR code that links to more information, including registration deadlines. Registration is handled directly between the families and Fortson 4-H Center.

Batter up!  Mark your calendar and start making plans now for the annual Georgia 4-H Day at the Atlanta Braves Game on Saturday, July 20, 2024. 

Here are the details:

Who: Atlanta Braves vs. St. Louis Cardinals

When: Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 7:20 PM

Where: Truist Park, 755 Battery Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30339

 Cost is $38.00 per ticket for adults & youth – Grandstand seating in section 413-416.

Procedure for ordering tickets:

A limited number of tickets (500) have been pre-ordered for Georgia 4-H. NEW THIS YEAR…..To order tickets, please click on the link to select seats, purchase car passes and checkout using a credit card.  Printed Braves tickets will no longer be handled thru the 4-H Office. Parking Passes: Car parking passes at $30.00 each can be ordered online after you make your ticket purchase.
