RELEAF DEKALB | URBAN TREE CANOPY | NO NET LOSS OF TREES POLICY | ||
Releaf DeKalb is a program in partnership with Trees Atlanta to beautify DeKalb County and expand our tree canopy. This program includes tree installations in public spaces, as well as in the front or side yards of residents of unincorporated DeKalb County. Our Front Yard Tree Program is an opportunity for DeKalb homeowners to add shade and beauty to their yard, at no cost to the homeowner. Our partner, Trees Atlanta, provides advice on species selection and the best location for the tree, and will deliver and plant the tree. Homeowners help with watering in its first growing season and some easy basic care. Click here to fill out an application for a front yard tree! | Learn about our Urban Tree Canopy study. We are in the process of creating a map of our tree canopy and how it has changed over time. Sign up to Engage DeKalb for updates.
