Construction to replace sewer lines and manhole structures
Efforts to improve the watershed system throughout DeKalb County continue on Monday, July 17, with the launch of the Cobb Creek Sewer Improvement Project.
Crews will replace approximately 18,439 feet of gravity sewer main lines. This sewer improvement project is expected to last approximately 30 months (Summer 2023 to December 2025), barring any weather delays.
Normal construction hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. An increase in construction-related noise and traffic during work hours should be expected.
