Fleet Honors and Awards

The National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc., which operates as NAFA Fleet Management Association, is a not-for-profit professional society for managers of fleets in the United States and Canada. The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas program recognizes peak-performing fleet operations. This program identifies and encourages the ever-increasing levels of performance improvement and innovation within the public fleet industry.

Since 2014, DeKalb County Fleet Management has frequently placed in the top 10 of 100 Best Fleets from across North America, ranking #1 Best Fleet in 2018.

The Green Fleet Awards program, judged by a panel of industry experts, recognizes fleet operations that are making significant efforts to decrease their carbon footprints and increase overall efficiency through use of alternative fuels and implementation of sustainable practices.

DeKalb County Fleet Management has ranked among the top 25 every year since 2013.

NGVAmerica (Natural Gas Vehicles for America) is the North American trade association dedicated to the development of a growing, profitable, and sustainable market for vehicles powered by geologic and renewable natural gas. NGVAmerica represents the full value chain of the industry including more than 200 companies, environmental groups, and governmental organizations interested in clean transportation solutions.

The NGV Achievement Awards program recognizes organizations and individuals that are making significant efforts to advance natural gas as a transportation fuel.

In 2022, DeKalb County Fleet Management was awarded its first NGV Achievement Award for Natural Gas Public Fleet Programs.
