The Lou Walker Senior Center is DeKalb’s first multi-purpose county-funded senior center for active seniors aged 55 and older. Named after DeKalb County’s 7th District Commissioner, Lou Walker, this 40,000 square foot facility was built in 2007 to meet the needs of seniors in the Stonecrest community.

Today, Lou Walker offers a variety of activities and amenities which include a swimming pool, a gym, an on-site hair salon and barber shop, vegetable gardens, cooking classes and so much more.
