County will hold a webinar for landlords to explain the application process for its Tenant-Landlord Assistance Coalition program today, Thursday, July 1, at 7 p.m.
DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond will participate in the webinar, along with DeKalb County Clerk of State and Magistrate Courts Javoyne Hicks and representatives from Tenant-Landlord Assistance Coalition program.
Landlords will learn more about the program and will have an opportunity to ask questions about the process.
Applicants can participate in the webinar via Zoom at https://dekalbcountyga.zoom.us/j/84580098198. The webinar also will be available via livestream on DCTV’s UStream channel: https://video.ibm.com/channel/dctv-channel-23.
Originally launched in February, the program is designed to provide financial relief to DeKalb renters threatened by eviction and landlords facing revenue losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Tenant-Landlord Assistance Coalition program is open to new applicants and anyone who previously applied but did not receive assistance. Anyone who previously applied but has not been contacted by a TLAC agent must reapply for assistance.
The relaunched program will feature a secure platform for submitting required documents.
