DeKalb County Public Library to Host Emergency Blood Drives for the American Red Cross

DeKalb County Public Library is partnering with the American Red Cross to host several emergency blood drives during the month of April.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, blood donations are critically needed to be distributed to hospitals. 

The first blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the Dunwoody Library, 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338.

Additional dates include:

• April 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hairston Crossing Library, 4911 Redan Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088
• April 16, Dunwoody Library, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338

The Red Cross is taking extra precautions to ensure that blood donations as well as donors are safe.
