Clairemont Avenue in Decatur reopened at 6 a.m., Feb. 18, after DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management (DWM) crews repaired a break on a 20-inch-diameter water main.
DeKalb Watershed crews worked from 8 a.m. on Sunday to 6 a.m. on Tuesday to isolate and repair the water main break at 920 Clairemont Ave., Decatur, and rebuild an approximately 60-foot section of damaged road.
All lanes on Clairemont Avenue were closed from Scott Boulevard to Maediris Drive during the repair.
There was minimal water service interruption in the area.
