DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management crews are continuing work to repair a 16-inch water main near Peachcrest Road.
Extensive repairs are required to permanently fix a structural failure to the water main.
DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond was onsite Saturday afternoon to talk to residents and receive an update about the status of the repair work which began Friday at 6 p.m.
Residential customers near the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Columbia Drive may experience some service interruptions including low water pressure and temporary water outages.
If customers experience brown water, they should run their faucets until the water is clear.
