DeKalb Park to be a Certified Bird Sanctuary

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs' Briarlake Forest Park will be recognized by the Atlanta Audubon Society as a certified wildlife sanctuary for birds. The Audubon Society is a national organization that creates a culture of conservation in local communities through education and advocacy, focusing on the conservation of birds, other wildlife and conservation of important habitats.
