DECATUR, Ga. – A single lane of Hearn Road near Corn Creek Bridge will be closed intermittently from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 30, as heavy equipment for the Hearn Road Lift Station Replacement Project is delivered at 4317 Hearn Road, Ellenwood, GA.
A part of DeKalb County’s $1.34 billion capital improvement program, the Hearn Road project will improve sewer service to the community by increasing capacity and reducing sanitary sewer overflows in the area.
Motorists who use Hearn Road should expect delays and plan for extra commuting time. Lane closure signs will be in the area alerting drivers to the construction zone and local traffic restrictions.
