City of Atlanta Issues Boil Water Advisory

DECATUR, Ga. – The City of Atlanta has issued a boil water advisory for an area that includes a small portion of Atlanta in DeKalb County until further notice.

This boil water advisory is only for those residents in DeKalb County who reside in the City of Atlanta and are serviced by Atlanta Department of Watershed Management. Customers serviced by DeKalb County’s Department of Watershed Management are not affected.

Customers in affected areas should boil water for one minute past a rolling boil before using it for cooking, drinking or brushing teeth. Infants, the elderly and those with immune deficiencies should be particularly careful.
