SERVICES |

The Transportation Division wants to make transportation accessible and affordable for everyone. We do this through a variety of programs: Department of Human Services Coordinated Transportation Services The Transportation Division provides curb-to-curb transportation services for seniors age 60 years and older to medical appointments, dialysis, and therapy. Services are for non-emergency medical appointments only. Transportation for medical and dialysis appointments can only be provided to locations within 25 miles of the Maloof Building, which is located at 1300 Commerce Dr, Decatur, GA 30030. The County does not provide medical transportation to locations that exceed this distance. Transportation is also not provided for surgical procedures. DeKalb County Transportation Voucher Program The DeKalb County Transportation Voucher Program is designed to help older adults get out of their homes and be more active within their communities. Qualifying participants can use vouchers to have drivers of their choosing take them to the grocery store, department stores, and other places within the community. The program does have destination limits and participation requires a small cost share/fee. For more information, call DeKalb County’s Transportation Line at (770) 322.2967. |
