DECATUR, Ga. — DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond and other county officials will launch “DeKalb Works,” an initiative to address youth unemployment, Wednesday, March 29, at 9:30 a.m., at Maloof Auditorium.
A partnership with WorkSource DeKalb, “DeKalb Works” is a summer internship program that pairs more than 300 DeKalb residents ages 14 to 24 with private and public sector employers.
