Statement on Protest on Constitution Road

6:30 p.m. update

• As of 4:30 p.m., all protestors had left Gresham Park and the Constitution Road area.
• There were no arrests made today related to the protests on Constitution Road.
• During the protest, protestors deployed smoke bombs.
• When DeKalb Police performed a check of the protest area Constitution Road after protestors left, they found three bags of metal grinders and smoke bombs.
• In a separate incident, DeKalb Police arrested one person at 11:50 a.m. in the parking lot of a grocery store at 2532 Bouldcrest Road for giving false name and date of birth and obstruction of an officer.
