DECATUR, Ga. – A section of Deepdene Park will be closed to repair the rock waterfall from June 19 to 30. Additional repairs will also take place including rebuilding the trail, removing shrubs and creating a drainage basin.
The park will remain open during repairs and visitors are encouraged to use caution and follow safety signs marking off the repair area.
Deepdene is the largest segment of the historic Olmsted Linear Park. Olmsted Linear Park is two miles long and runs along Ponce de Leon Avenue, through the heart of the Druid Hills community.
