Redan Park Ribbon Cutting set for July 19

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs and District 5 Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for new tennis courts at Redan Park on Wednesday, July 19, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held at 1745 Phillips Road, Lithonia, GA 30058.

A total of $109,300 was allocated from DeKalb County 2006 Park Bond funds to construct the two new tennis courts.

The public is invited to join park staff and county officials at the ceremony. Attendees will also learn more about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
