Recreation Parks and Cultural Affairs to host July Movies in the Park Series

DECATUR, Ga. – DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department will host a movie in the park series every Tuesday in July in various locations across the county with activities beginning at dusk and each movie starting at 8:30 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring your family and friends, blankets, lawn chairs and food for each showing. All movies featured will be PG-13 and below rated films and viewable for all ages to enjoy. Select locations will extend pool hours.   

Movie Schedule

• July 17 at Exchange Recreation Center – Marvel’s “Ant-Man” 

*Exchange Splash Pad will remain open until 8 p.m.

• July 24 at Mason Mill Park – Sony Picture’s “Hotel Transylvania 2”
• July 31 at Browns Mill Aquatic Facility – Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time”

*Browns Mill Aquatics Facility will be free after 8 p.m. and will remain open until the movie is over.
