Oakcliff Road Lane Closure Scheduled for March 5-9

DECATUR, Ga. – A single lane of Oakcliff Industrial Court at the intersection with Oakcliff Road in Doraville will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, March 5 through Friday, March 9, as crews complete a sewer line installation project.

As part of DeKalb County’s $1.345 billion Capital Improvement Program, crews working on behalf of the Department Watershed Management (DWM) are assessing and repairing lines to improve sewer service to the community by increasing capacity and reducing sanitary sewer overflows in the area.  Crews will be replacing and upsizing sewer pipes, as well as installing new manholes.

Motorists and MARTA passengers that use Oakcliff Road at the Oakcliff Industrial Court intersection should expect delays and plan for extra commuting time. Lane closure signs in the area will alert drivers to the construction zone and local traffic restrictions.
