DeKalb County Voter Registration and Elections (DeKalb VRE) has concluded initial unofficial and incomplete tabulations of the Nov. 8 General Election including absentee, advance in-person and Election Day voting.
Due to Friday’s federal holiday, Veteran’s Day, Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) ballots must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14. Provisional ballots will also be factored into the final certified results.
“Throughout this election cycle, we’ve provided a smooth voting experience for DeKalb County voters,” said Keisha Smith, executive director of DeKalb VRE. “I’d like to thank my team for their tireless efforts over the last several months, and we look forward to concluding the counting of the final remaining ballots and certifying the election next week.”
DeKalb VRE is scheduled to certify the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 12 p.m.
