DeKalb Small Business Week is March 13-17

DECATUR, Ga. —DeKalb County will recognize small businesses, their growth and contributions to the community during DeKalb Small Business Week, March 13-17.

DeKalb County is home to a diverse array of small businesses, from restaurants and retail to manufacturing, professional services, construction and more.

In its own procurement process, DeKalb supports local small businesses with DeKalb First, an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners in 2016 with the intention of providing opportunities for earned revenue by local certified businesses through a competitive process.

During DeKalb Small Business Week, residents and local businesses are encouraged to share their favorite companies on Twitter with #DeKalbSmallBiz. All week long, small business profiles and tips for small businesses will be posted on DeKalb's social media accounts: @ItsInDeKalb on Twitter, It’s in DeKalb on Facebook and @ItsInDeKalbGA on Instagram.
