DeKalb to Participate in Imagine a Day Without Water

DECATUR, Ga. — On Oct. 10, 2018, DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management (DWM) will join elected officials, water utilities, community leaders, educators and businesses to participate in the fourth annual Imagine a Day Without Water. The nationwide event was established by the Value of Water Campaign to educate communities about the value of water.

DWM will host a "Imagine a Day Without Water" Community Open House at the at Scott Candler Water Treatment Plant, 4830 Winters Chapel Road, Atlanta, GA 30360, on Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees must register in advance by contacting Brenda Winston at bwinston@dekalbcountyga.gov or 770-414-6213.
