The DeKalb Human Services Department will host a series of virtual Lunch & Learn webinars for the community, starting March 1, 2021, to provide information that will connect individuals and families to needed services that are available in DeKalb County.
Participants will learn about the department’s many community partners as well as the services that they offer during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Nonprofit organizations play a critical role in providing specialized services to the citizens of DeKalb County,” said Damon Scott, director of the DeKalb Human Services Department. “Especially now, I feel it is important to shine the light on the work that they do and have stakeholders learn more about them directly. These nonprofit organizations serve as an extension of Dekalb County’s Human Services Department through our grants division.”
The Lunch & Series will be held monthly through the end of the year. There is no cost to participate, however registration is required. To register for the March 1 session, visit http://bit.ly/non-profits1. To register for March 3, plese visit http://bit.ly/non-profits2.
