DeKalb to Host Back-to-School Giveaway and Bike Rodeo

DECATUR, Ga.- DeKalb County Department of Youth Services will host a back-to-school bike rodeo on Saturday, July 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hills at Fairington, located at 5959 Fairington Road, Lithonia, GA.

DeKalb students are encouraged to bring their bikes for a bike safety check provided by the DeKalb County Police Department’s Tucker Precinct. Helmets also will be provided to participants by the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department.

The event will feature a backpack and school supplies giveaway to participants on a first come first serve basis while supplies last.

Registration is not required and open to DeKalb County youth ages 6 to 12 years old.
