DeKalb County, City Leaders to Discuss SPLOST Referendum

DECATUR, Ga.—DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond and the mayors of the cities contained in the county will discuss their decision to call for a special purpose local option sales tax (SPLOST) referendum in November.

The announcement will be made during a joint news conference on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at DeKalb County Roads and Drainage Division, 727 Camp Road, Decatur, GA 30032.

Follow Camp Road to the signs to the news conference site, which will be held outside in a parking lot.

In the event of inclement weather, the news conference will be held at the Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Dr., Decatur, GA 30030.
