DeKalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson will host his 13th annual tree lighting event, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at Porter Sanford, III Performing Arts and Community Center.
The Annual Tree Lighting is a time for the community to come together to reflect and unite as we prepare for the holiday season. This year due to COVID-19, the event will be held outdoors. Social distancing and masks are required in order to attend the tree lighting.
“I don’t want our community to lose hope and sharing in moments like these will help people to keep perspective and know that we will be alright as we work together and encourage one another during these times,” Commissioner Larry Johnson said.
The tree lighting is free and open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend for the lighting of DeKalb’s’ great tree.
